            The purpose of CMAO:
- promote the proficiency of city managers, assistant city managers, and administrators
- assist in the improvement of administration in general
- act as a clearinghouse for information on matters of interest or concern to all local governments.
Membership also provides for a great way to network with professional managers throughout the entire state. CMAO conducts two conferences annually. The Professional Administrators' Winter Conference is held in January of each year at Oklahoma State University and the Summer Conference is held in July at a location to be selected at the Winter Conference.
As a member, you will receive notification of these conferences as well as our two quarterly meetings in the spring and fall.
